Keele seems like a typical side platform subway station. It is in fact a bit more unusual, just west of the station the line leaves its tunnel for less than two blocks (daylight is clearly seen at this end of the station). The station has two exits one. One is in the middle of the platform. There is an exit to Keele St and Buses. A staircase and escalator from each platform lead UP to it. At the eastern end of the platform, there is an exit to end of the station to Indian Grove and Car Park, it is from staircases that lead DOWN from the station (because the train is about to go out on a brief viaduct over a small valley). The station wall text and molding line is basically maroon, with cream-colored tiling. |
