Islington is the second to last stop of the Bloor-Danforth Subway Line. The station consists of a single island platform. There is a spacious station house/mezzanine area with quite a few staircases up to it above the single island platform. There are some shops in this area as well. The station's color scheme is a light blue/turquoise trimline, and letting in that color, with the extremely light blue main tiling on the track walls are sections of the dark blue and cream-colored tiles, forming a vertical pattern on the horizontal tiles. |
