Dundas West is a typical subway station with two side platforms, the station has a single exit at one extreme end of the platforms, accessed from stairs and escalators, the stationhouse and fare control is at street level with an enclosed streetcar and bus loop included. This station house has a fairly unusual McDonalds in it, one that has a fence going down the middle of its public area, right at the same place where fare control in the station is. This means that half of the registers serve passengers who can have a Big Mac transferring from the subway to a bus or trolley, while the other half of them serve the outside world. This I found to be a farely unusual arrangement. The station wall text and molding line is a middle-hugh of green, with off white/grey tiling. Go Transit's Line D's Bloor Station is nearby. |
