The Stadium Station is the stop for Commonwealth Stadium, home of CFL's Edmonton Eskimos. The station is rather simple, it has the standard island platform with a concrete canopy structure over both the tracks and platform only at its midsection. This is also where the station's two stairwells (one is shared with an escalator) and elevator lead down to standard concourse area beneath the tracks. There are exits at either end of this concourse (staircases and a ramp lead up to ground level from both sides) To either 111 Avenue/84 Street or Commonwealth Stadium (and aptly named Stadium Road).The station doesn't seem overbuilt enough to handle the crowds of 60,000 people for a football game. The metal portions of the station are painted pink.
