South Campus is currently the southern terminus of the light rail. It is located adjacent to the University of Alberta's athletic fields. The station itself has an island platform and is located at street level and is accessed via ramps/short staircases at either end of the station platform, these lead to grade crossings across the tracks. These have gates on them that say 'Look' and have lights and bells. The main thing the station serves (right now at least) is the adjacent fairly large bus loop and transit center for station connections. The island platform has a stylized wooden canopy, with central concrete posts holding it up. This canopy is perched to one side of the station, but only covers the tracks. The station platform itself isn't in a POP area, signs say the trains are, and the TVMs are directly on the platforms.
