Corona is a simple underground Edmonton LRT station, it has the standard single island platform whose walls have been covered by strips a metallic metal making the entire station extremely reflective. The exits towards the extreme ends of the platform and one has a combined narrow staircase/always up escalator combination, the other has two narrow escalators besides an only slightly wider staircase. The station has no direct connections to adjacent buildings, and the mezzanine level above the two exits is continuous, with portions of it cut out and revealing the platform below. Hanging down to the platform from these cut out portions of the mezzanine are vertically long and narrow crystal-looking chandeliers, that make the stations lighting even more metallically reflective |
