Belvedere has the standard island platform, that, including the tracks, except for its northern end is completely enclosed in a shed-like structure with glass walls and the only support for the structure coming from the sides (there no support pillars along the station's platform). The stations exits are both accessed from an overpass that begins with doors leading to an interior area at the southern end of the station's platform. From here there's a staircase, an escalator and an elevator that lead to the actual overpass. Along the top of the overpass is where the station's TVMs are and the Proof-of-Payment area begins at the top of the staircases ect. This enclosed and heated overpass leads to an east entrance an 129 Avenue that is complete with an elevator down to it, and a passageway to the west entrance that is considerable farther down the overpass because it must pass over the freight tracks that are adjacent to the light rail line, before leading to staircases and another elevator down to the West Entrance that includes the station's park and ride lot and Belvedere Transit Center that has its own small building for passengers waiting their buses. |
